The Next Big Thing

Until recently, SAINt JHN had been a well-known figure in the music industry for his behind-the-scenes efforts. Penning records for the likes of Beyoncé, Rihanna, Usher, and even Joey Bada$$ – SAINt was no stranger to the industry.

After releasing only a handful of singles under his own moniker, the Guyanese born, Brooklyn raised rapper-singer-songwriter stepped out of the shadows and really began branding himself in March 2018 with the release of his debut project, “Collection One.”

Since then, SAINt JHN has been an unstoppable force. He’s been casted by Gucci as a model, opened shows for Post Malone, inked a management deal with former Roc-A-Fella Records co-founder Biggs Burke, amassed over 500 million streams worldwide, and went from writing songs for Beyoncé – to being on songs with Beyoncé, as he joined her and her 8-year-old daughter Blue Ivy on “Brown Skin Girl” from “The Lion King: The Gift” soundtrack.

Biggs Burke, who had previously been absent from the music industry for over 12 years, says he returned and began his new venture, Circles of Success Management Company, because of how blown away he was by SAINt’s talent.

In August 2019, SAINt JHN released his second album, “Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs” and unlike “Collection One,” he brought some guests with him. The project featured Meek Mill, Lil Baby, A Boogie wit da Hoodie, and even retro-rock legend Lenny Kravitz.

Kravitz, whom the album’s name was inspired by, has been cited as an idol by SAINt JHN. The two coming together and meshing so well on “Borders” is a testament to SAINt’s versatility.

“Ghetto Lenny’s Love Songs” was my favorite album of 2019, and my belief that SAINt JHN is going to be one of the biggest artists in music in the coming years is the reason I’m writing this.

Though he’s not a household name (yet), SAINt JHN has a worldwide following and cult-like fanbase. Until just this month, SAINt never had a hit record but was still selling out international shows as a headliner.

This year, SAINt JHN has seen some very unexpected success, after Kazakhstan record producer Imanbek made a dance remix to JHN’s 4-year-old song “Roses” that gained traction and catapulted the artist to gain his first number one single – overseas.

That’s right, SAINt JHN spent two weeks at number one on the UK’s Official Singles Chart – and elsewhere – and even dethroned The Weeknd’s “Blinding Lights” with a house music remix to a 4-year-old song. If that doesn’t prove his music stands the test of time, what does?

I believe SAINt JHN will be one of the biggest artists in music due to his unique sound and ability to create hit records that speak for themselves.

He can make up-tempo club bangers, emotional ballads, and melodic trap songs flawlessly with ease – and master them all. Prior to signing any major label deals or partnerships, SAINt had garnered a total of 50 million streams across just four songs – before the release of his debut project.

Although his catalogue is limited, SAINt JHN has already proven himself as a multi-faceted, genre-bending artist.

Get ready to hear his name a lot more in the coming years.

I think the internet has been a really great force in the music industry when it comes to giving artists a platform. I’ve noticed since the internet has kicked off there has been more success for cult artists who otherwise may be too experimental for a broader audience. Songs going viral on social media such as the SAINt JHN Roses remix has also helped introduce audiences to more diverse music. Do you think there are downsides for the music industry in the internet age?
